Recipe
1/2 cup flaxseeds
1 cup water, plus 3/4 cup water
2 bananas
¼ cup cacao powder
2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Directions
Soak the flaxseeds in water for 8 hours or overnight. Blend the gelled flaxseeds adding the rest of the water until a pudding consistency is reached. Blend in the rest of the ingredients until smooth. Add a little more water if necessary. This makes a great breakfast.
*Flaxseeds are an excellent source of Omega 3 fats and are digested better if ground or soaked.
